Zulema Bond is a Registered Clinical Social Worker. She is a graduate from Florida State University with a Masters in Social Work, with a specialty in children and families.

Mrs. Bond worked in a mental healthy agency for over 7 years. She worked as a School Social Worker in Broward County public school system for over 5 years.

She works extensively with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She has treated clients with ADHD, depression, anxiety, severe mental health disorders, trauma, grief, abuse, behavioral, and parenting issues. She has also worked with clients to improve their social skills, self-esteem, academic and/or work performance, and relationship problems. She has worked with families in immediate crisis (i.e., becoming homeless, disabled, trauma death, etc.) and is knowledgeable in community resources. She does advocacy work for her clients at the school setting including class observation and IEP meeting attendance.

Her focus is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship by empathy, positive self-regard, and self-determination. She approaches therapy by looking at the bio-psychosocial history, all aspects of the family system and environment. She primarily uses cognitive and behavioral therapy and play therapy (children) in working with her clients.

Therapy is offered in English and Spanish.

Mrs. Bond lives in Hollywood with her husband, son, and daughter.
